Out of over 250 nominees, InTheCapital crowned SocialRadar one of the ten coolest companies in DC. The announcement came at DC Fest in September, a night when young professionals from across the city gathered to play lawn games, eat, and drink to celebrate those companies who had been named the coolest.

Nominees were judged based on various factors including how much fun the employees have and how unique the company culture is.

SocialRadar is social on more than one level. At least twice a week, we eat dinner together. We’ve taken the afternoon off to see superhero movies on opening day. (Oh, Spider-Man, you can do better.) Though we collectively have almost no nautical experience, we enjoyed hanging out together on a boat on the Potomac one lovely summer afternoon. We did all this in the name of fun. It’s an honor to learn we were also being cool.

Rounding out the top ten: EverFiOptoroVideoBlocksWeddingWirencludBrivo LabsHelloWalletFlat World Education, and 2U. More than worthy “competitors.” Congrats to all!

As it happens, Flat World Education is right across the hall from us. Does that mean that we can lay claim to the coolest floor in DC?

Check out what we feel are some of our ‘cooler’ moments over the past year:
